Throughout 2016 we have advised 176 new clients whilst taking under management £54 million of new investments. Our services continue to focus on business owners and wealthy private clients. However, we have expanded our offering to the sporting world, helping cricketers, rugby players and boxers with their financial planning and investment management.
To help deliver this growth, we have invested heavily in the team with nine new recruits joining in 2016. We have also invested in our infrastructure with an expansion of the office in July where we now occupy twice the floor space. Further investment has been made in systems and technology with the introduction of Bloomberg for the investment team and other bespoke systems created by our inhouse developers.
Charity work has continued this year, with the team working hard to raise money for Ty Hafan, our charity partner for 2016. Our new charity partner for 2017 will be the NSPCC.
Finally, I am extremely proud of our team who have been voted in the top 100 advisory firms within the UK. We are also in contention for top advisory firm in Wales – the award ceremony is in early January next year.
