I wanted something different and I was ready for a new challenge. After 12 months of research I was certain that Bartholomew Hawkins was the right place for me but I needed to meet the people and feel the culture.
It takes courage to let go of the familiar and embrace the new but I'm glad I did and Bartholomew Hawkins have made it easy for me. As I walked through those office doors, with a little nervous excitement, I was greeted warmly by the lovely Maria (Office Manager) and welcomed into the Bartholomew Hawkins family.
I felt supported from that very first day and by a highly skilled team of professionals. I liked the ethos of the business and the characters within. It became clear from very early on that they worked well together and importantly, for each other.
I was hoping to find a place that found value in new ideas and it was refreshing to hear new ideas from employees received with open minds. I feel privileged to be part of a progressive organisation that adhere to the highest of professional standards.
It's been a few months now and working within a team of chartered financial planners has not only been rewarding for me but beneficial for my clients too. As we move towards the end of 2016, I'm looking forward to the prospect of a challenging but fulling New Year.
One thing I can now be certain of, is that I chose well.
